Programming

The programming aspect of worship is based around our worship planning team. The team is made up of more than individuals with opinions about what worship should become, but rather, believers with a common purpose of creatively communicating the Gospel message of Christ to the church and surrounding communities. The team also includes many of our worship ministry leaders such as drama, visual arts, and others. Anyone who is interested is welcome to come.

The meetings take place typically the 1st Sunday of each month from 5-6:00 in the conference room (first floor, last room on the right). (Please call to confirm meeting date.) The meetings serve two purposes:

Evaluate Sunday’s services giving insight to the positive areas of worship in addition to examining areas for improvement.
Give specific direction and vision to where the worship and arts’ ministry at First Christian must advance in order to remain effective, focusing on both short and long-term goals for the ministry.
